FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Who do I call if I have a sewer emergency?

A. Call 816 858-2052 and your call will be directed to the operations staff. Be sure to leave your name, address of the sewer emergency, and a phone number in order to receive a return call.

Q. How do I obtain a sewer connection permit?

A. Sewer connection permits are available through the PCRSD office. Original connection permits must be obtained as each has it's own unique permit number.

Q. When is my sewer bill due?

A. Sewer bills are due once a month. Each month's billing is due on the 1st day of the month and pays for that month's service.

Q. When does my sewer rate change?

A. PCRDS fiscal year runs from January 1st through December 31st. In most cases, rates take effect on January 1st of each year. Annual rate hearings are held in October of the previous year and new rate information is assembled and mailed in November prior to the start of the New Year.

Q. What if I have not received my rate information prior to December 1st for the next year's billings?

A. In this instance it is recommended that you contact PCRSD and inform them that you have not received billing information for the coming year. It would be helpful to staff if you would verify your mailing address to insure that all PCRSD data is correct. PCRSD will assemble and mail new information as soon as possible.
