• The service line and all amenities including electrical wiring, electrical junction boxes and alarms, that are located between your home or business and the main sewer line are the responsibility of the property owner? Keeping a watchful eye on the persons hired to work in areas near these amenities as well as using caution with items discarded into the sewer service line can help eliminate possible damage to your service line, home, or business.
• A broken washing machine hose can leak up to 500 gallons in one hour? Check hoses for soft spots, brittleness and small leaks.
• A leaking toilet or dripping water faucet can leak hundreds of gallons of water over a period of time? Check toilet float valves, sink/tub faucets, and outdoor hydrants for leaks. By fixing these problems you will see a decrease in water consumption thus lowering utility bills.
• PCRSD has been recognized as a model sewer district by state and local officials.
Wastewater, once treated to specified levels of safety, is released into streams that eventually end at the Missouri River, our drinking water source.
• PCRSD does not handle Storm Sewers. PCRSD deals only with collection and treatment of wastewater.
